Easy Box Braids DYI
I am lucky and happy to live in San Juan, Puerto Rico! The sun is always bright and the sky is beautifully blue. Living here feels like living in paradise! I do have curly hair and being in such a tropical whether really influences in the way I style my hair. Since I go to the beach a lot and I like to be active I tend to use protective styles that can last long. And one of my favorite styles is box braids. Box braids is a type of african hair braiding that lasts long and allows you to forget about your hair for days! In this quick tutotual I will show you how you can do your own box braids at home with your natural hair!
1. Comb Hair
Choose a strand of hair. The size of the strand depends of how thick you want your box braids to be.
2. Use favorite gel
Use whatever gel you prefer. I love using Shine ‘n Jam which I bought at Walgreens for under $9.
